Hi, I'm Ash, and this is my website.

 We are a horse mad family, based in Cheltenham, England, and have kept horses of our own for few years now. I am a happy hacker who spends most of my time on the ground with a shovel in my hand, but my daughter Alex show jumps regularly at unaffiliated level on our Fell x Welsh mountain Pony 'Jessie' and  Thoroughbred 'Ebony'.

Stencil Bum was started after a request from a racehorse trainer to make a customised stencil for when his horses were running. He was using an old cornflakes packet and wanted something more durable, so I had a look around and realised that no one was offering such a service.

After acquiring a machine to cut templates, and a lot of trial and error we realised that using self adhesive vinyl coupled with the application tape to create the stencils, gives a much more flexible system for getting designs onto the horses and the system has developed since then.
